That depends usually after the review hype phase, what makes the better game(MORE FUN) are the sales? Because people like the game or what they hear from others?
PS3 exclusives sometimes get hypes beyond reality and some times the reviewers just go with the flow because it would be suicide not to with hyped up PS3 games.
Having played both KZ2 and Battlefield games I can tell you Battlefield 1942 is more enjoyable than KZ2.

Yes ODST may backfire long term because Halo Reach will be out and people will stop buying it then.
